Getting the Anjuna SGX Runtime

This section explains how you can obtain and install the Anjuna Runtime. You can use the Runtime on any system that supports the needed hardware features, whether a cloud-based host provided by a vendor, or your own hardware in your own lab or data center. This section lists the system requirements you’ll need to fulfill before you can use the Anjuna Runtime, and describes how to get and install it.

Local or in the cloud

You can install the Anjuna Runtime on a local host of your own, or on a server maintained by a cloud hosting service such as Microsoft Azure. In either case, the process of setting up the Anjuna Runtime is the same: confirm that the host has the required hardware features and that they are enabled, obtain the right version of the Anjuna software, and run the Anjuna installer.

The following sections show you how to perform these steps in both the local and cloud-based cases.

After a successful run of the installer you’re ready to start working with secure enclaves. The rest of this reference guides you through the process of setting up and running applications in secure enclaves.
