Prerequisites

Review the following assumptions and prerequisites to verify that your system is ready.

Assumptions

  • An existing EKS cluster

  • An existing Docker registry

    • The EKS cluster has access to the Docker registry

  • At least one AWS Nitro-capable node attached to the cluster

    • The EC2 VM was created with the AWS flag "enclave-options Enabled=true"

  • Linux environment to manage the cluster from

  • Anjuna Nitro K8s Toolset (tarfile)

Prerequisites

The following applications are installed on your local Linux environment:

  • kubectl

    • For a supported K8s version

  • Docker

    • Version >= 20

  • Helm

    • Version 3.7-3.9

  • tar, sed

  • aws (AWS CLI 2.7.1)

    • Configured with your user’s secrets

  • openssl

    • Version 1.1.1
